PGA Tour pro Michael Kim had special advice for the injured Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland. He asked his fellow professionals to take a long break before making a comeback.

On Friday, December 28, Scottie Scheffler pulled out of the season’s inaugural event, the Sentry Tournament of Champions, after recently getting injured. A few hours later, Viktor Hovland also revealed his toe injury, which was less serious.

On Saturday, December 29, Michael Kim gave a hilarious suggestion to the top PGA Tour stars.

“Hey Scottie, Viktor, I sincerely hope that you both will recover quickly and get back to your usual selves,” he wrote on X. “But by all means, don’t be afraid to take some extra time off and not play Amex, Torrey, and WM to be specific. You can never be too careful.”

As for Michael Kim, he will not be competing at the Sentry 2025, the first event of the PGA Tour season. Since the Sentry is a limited-field event, only 60 players will participate.

The first of eight Signature Events for the 2025 season will feature winners from previous seasons, champions from the FedEx Cup Fall season, and the top 50 players in the FedEx Cup standings.
