All in Shock’: Lexi Thompson’s ‘Money Grab’ Haunt Ends, Agent Buries Rumors With Startling Revelations
In a surprising turn of events, Lexi Thompson, the 28-year-old golf prodigy with 11 titles, has chosen to endorse Maxfli golf balls, sparking both curiosity and criticism within the golf community.
After her contract with Bridgestone expired following a challenging 2023 season, Thompson found herself exploring new options. Despite initial skepticism and whispers of a ‘money grab,’ her agent, Brett Falkoff, revealed that the decision was driven by more than just financial considerations.
Facing limited choices, Thompson’s management reluctantly entertained Maxfli’s offer, only to be astounded by the performance of the golf balls during testing. Falkoff disclosed to Golf.com, “We were all in shock. The golf ball was better than anything else she tested. It became a nice match, and we were able to work out a nice agreement.” While the specifics of the deal remain undisclosed, Thompson will prominently display Maxfli’s logo on her visor and contribute valuable feedback for further product enhancements.
