Brooks Koepka, who has been one of the most vocal supporters of LIV Golf since quitting the PGA Tour, has spoken about the potential merger between the tours

Brooks Koepka has suggested that the ongoing conflict between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour could wrap up within a couple of years but admitted he hasn’t heard any updates. 34-year-old Koepka, who jumped ship to LIV Golf in 2022, has become one of the top earners in the breakaway tour and holds the most event wins in LIV Golf history with five.

Murmurs of a blockbuster merger between LIV and the PGA Tour have been circulating since talks began in June 2023, but an agreement is yet to be reached. Last week saw potential progress, with supposed discussions involving Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), Tiger Woods, and PGA Tour chiefs.

Speaking on the Pardon My Take podcastalongside fellow LIV star Talor Gooch, Koepka said he was optimistic that a deal would be struck soon. “I feel like in two years from now I think we’ll all be laughing about this, and we’ll all be playing somewhere [together],” he predicted. “It might be a LIV vs PGA Tour thing. Who knows what it could be so, we’ll see.”
