Scottie Scheffler Jokes Are Pouring in After Presidential Debate
On Thursday night, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump met on the CNN stage for their first public debate since 2020.
The two presumed 2024 presidential candidates covered a variety of important topics — and some not-so-important topics.
At one point, Biden and Trump got off on a serious tangent — arguing about who had the better golf game.
Trump claimed he’d just won two club championships. Biden claimed he once got his handicap down to a six.
Amid this ridiculous argument, fans flooded social media with jokes about World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler.
“If all it takes to be president is to play golf, I nominate Scottie Scheffler,” one wrote.

“Keep thinking about how much Scottie Scheffler would have dominated last night’s debate,” another added.
Golfing talent isn’t at all an indicator of someone’s ability to hold the country’s highest office. But if it was, Scheffler would certainly be the best option.
