Lexi Thompson signs multi-year endorsement deal to play Bridgestone ball’

In January 2018, Lexi Thompson, a prominent figure in women’s golf with eight LPGA Tour victories at the time, entered into a multi-year endorsement agreement with Bridgestone Golf to officially play their Tour B X golf ball. Prior to this partnership, Thompson had been using Bridgestone’s B330-S ball for two seasons.

Thompson expressed her satisfaction with the new Tour B X ball, highlighting its exceptional distance off the tee without compromising performance around the green. She stated, “I’ve used Bridgestone for years and the new Tour B product is shockingly good. It gives me tremendous distance off the tee without sacrificing any performance around the green.” She further emphasized her confidence in executing various shots, noting, “I feel confident hitting any type of shot the situation calls for.”

When evaluating golf balls, Thompson prioritizes distance, accuracy, and feel. She remarked that the new Tour B exceeded her expectations in these areas, stating, “For me, the new Tour B delivered in spades. I’ve never played anything that has responded so positively to any situation the golf course throws at me.”

The Tour B Series from Bridgestone comprises four models—X, XS, RX, and RXS—each priced at $44.99. The development of this series was informed by data from over three million consumer ball fittings, alongside insights from third-party sources and Bridgestone’s internal research.

With this endorsement, Thompson joined an esteemed roster of Bridgestone’s professional staff, which includes notable golfers such as Tiger Woods, Brandt Snedeker, Matt Kuchar, Fred Couples, and Bryson DeChambeau.
