Where Will Jordan Spieth Play Next After Disappointing Genesis Invitational Finish? PGA Tour Schedule Explored
Jordan Spieth has been one of the fan’s favorites in all the events he participated in. And why wouldn’t he? The American professional is the youngest Masters winner in history. However, with his recent performance, many will not agree with it. The 31-year-old has a reason behind his performance, showcasing an up-and-down pattern.
After a long break due to wrist surgery in August 2024, the golfer had been away from the course and couldn’t even practice for the longest. The result of this can be seen in his performance in the three events he participated in. His 2025 debut at Pebble Beach was rough with that T69 finish. In contrast, did you see his comeback at Phoenix? The T4 finish felt like he was back in the game.
But ahead, Jordan Spieth missed the cut at the Genesis Invitational, disappointing fans after his strong finish at Pebble Beach. On the bright side, that finish boosted him from 84th to 65th in the OWGR. But he’s still got a way to go to qualify for the signature event. So, where’s he headed next?
The next event of the tour is the Mexico Open, and Spieth has not been keen to participate in that, looking at his previous year’s schedule. Ain’t like the past few years, Spieth might hit up the Cognizant Classic this time. Similar to the past two signature events, Spieth might have to rely on the sponsor exemption.
Similarly, Arnold Palmer Invitational, the 31-year-old will be eager to participate as last year had a decent finish with T30.
