This is after Spieth made 14 cuts throughout the season with 3 top-10 finishes. His best came at last year’s The Sentry where he finished 3rd. He gathered $2,732,591 from the Tour appearances last year, which is nearly 2 million less than what he will make off the PIP.

The topic arose after the group was discussing Tiger Woods being ranked 1st on the PIP list. After 3 other formidable players, the 5th man on the PIP was Jordan Spieth. That’s when one of the hosts mentioned how “Jordan Spieth is sneak. One of the richest golfers of all time who has had one of the strangest careers,” as he reflected on the golfer’s career. He further mentioned, “This year, what did Jordan Spieth do? Maybe I’m just not remembering what happened but he didn’t do a ton, but he is so popular,” speaking about the fame the Texan has even without a stellar season.
