Event 21 of the PDC Women’s Series has gone as expected to Beau Greaves who extends her winning streak to 65 matches on the tour defeating her familiar rival Fallon Sherrock in the final in a 5-4 win.

She won with a 99 average against Sherrock who averaged 96 in defeat. She will have Greaves to thank as she has already qualified for the World Championship with time to spare due to Greaves having such an incredible week on the Development Tour and the World Youth Championship reaching the final of the latter as well as scooping her Tour Card and World Championship spot.

Greaves returned to business on the Women’s Series this weekend as she headed to Wigan for the final rungs of the series. She saw off Gemma Hayter 5-1 with a 95 average in the semis as well as Noa-Lynn van Leuven before that. Hayter had vanquished Lisa Ashton while Sherrock saw off Deta Hedman and Sue Lowther. In an absolute epic though, Greaves sealed the win and heads into the next event looking to prolong that dominance.

The top two players on the Women’s Series Order of Merit qualify directly for the PDC World Darts Championship, where they will have the opportunity to compete against the best darts players in the world. In addition, the number one on the final ranking gets to compete at the Grand Slam of Darts. Eight ladies also earn entry to the Women’s World Matchplay through the Women’s Series Order of Merit.
