The official owner of the aircraft is registered as TVPX Aircraft Solutions, which is a trustee company for various aircraft operators based in North Salt Lake, Utah. This company officially registered the new aircraft on April 14, 2025, although McIlroy was operating this aircraft prior to the certification change. This was also the final day of the 2025 Masters Tournament, which McIlroy won.

McIlroy was originally born in Holywood, County Down, in Northern Ireland. However, he currently lives in Jupiter, Florida, a popular town for golfers due to the warm weather year-round and the abundance of challenging golf courses in the area.
