Jordan Spieth and Scheffler will be the hometown heroes headlining the field at TPC Craig Ranch.

Jordan Spieth is officially committed to playing in the 2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

This year the event begins on May 1 and runs through May 4 at McKinney’s TPC Craig Ranch.

Spieth missed the cut at the Byron Nelson in 2024, but was the runner-up in 2022.

Spieth will be joining fellow Dallas-area native Scottie Scheffler in this year’s field in their hometown.

Scheffler is back in the Nelson’s field this year after missing last year’s tournament while he and his wife, Meredith, were expecting the birth of their first child.

Last year’s Nelson was a stunner won in upset fashion by Canada’s Taylor Pendrith in what was his first and only PGA Tour win to date.
