World No. 1 Scheffler was chasing his first victory of the season and held the 36-hole lead at Memorial Park Golf Course, but a sluggish day on the greens on Saturday left him five shots behind leader Min Woo Lee heading into Sunday’s final round.

But Scheffler showed exactly why he has been the best player on the planet over the past three years, catching fire on his back nine to shoot a seven-under-par final-round 63 to get in the clubhouse at 19-under.
