Tiger Woods decided to “avoid” speculation and gossip about his budding relationship with Vanessa Trump by making their romance official on Instagram.

The 15-time major champion’s love life has been the subject of much speculation in recent months, especially after the couple was seen together at the Genesis Invitational earlier this year. In February, they arrived together at the event before Woods withdrew from the tournament at Torrey Pines South Course.

While it remains unclear how the pair initially crossed paths, it is known that their children attend the same school in Florida. Vanessa, a former model, was previously married to Donald Trump Jr, with whom she shares five children. They divorced in 2018.

Five-time Masters winner Woods separated from his ex-wife Elin Nordegren in 2010 following a cheating scandal that rocked his career the previous year. Leaving their respective pasts behind, Woods and Trump publicly announced their relationship on social media on March 23.

In heartwarming photos posted by Woods on his Instagram, the couple can be seen embracing each other, thereby putting an end to the rumors by confirming their relationship. In the caption, the golfing legend expressed his feelings about their relationship, writing: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!”.

“We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts,” he added.
