American professional golfer Nelly Korda has recently unveiled a fresh look in her latest Instagram post, opting for a new hairstyle that strays from her traditional golfing style.

Korda hails from a family deeply rooted in sports; her father was a professional tennis player, and her siblings are also engaged in tennis and golf. She turned professional in 2016 and joined the LPGA Tour a year later.

With an impressive tally of 15 LPGA Tour victories under her belt, including the prestigious 2021 Women’s PGA Championship and the 2024 Chevron Championship, Korda currently holds the title of World No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

The accomplished golfer frequently shares insights into her personal life and career on Instagram. In her latest update, Korda showcased her hair flowing freely around her shoulders, breaking from her usual bun or braid associated with golfing.

In a striking black-and-white photograph, she is seen posing in front of a mirror, dressed in a collared long-sleeved shirt paired with denim trousers.

This year, Korda has participated in two LPGA Tour events. She kicked off the season at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in January, where she finished in second place, racking up an impressive score of 18-under 65, just two strokes shy of champion A Lim Kim. Her performance earned her a substantial prize of $227,854.

Following that, she competed in the Founders Cup presented by the U.S. Virgin Islands at the Bradenton Country Club in Florida. Although her performance did not match her earlier tournament success, Korda achieved a commendable top-10 finish, placing T7 and taking home $51,522.

This year, Korda opted out of the HSBC Women’s World Championship and is currently enjoying a brief hiatus from the tour, with plans to return for the Ford Championship later this month.

After the conclusion of the Founders Cup, Korda shared memories from the event on Instagram, expressing gratitude through a heartfelt message.

As a native of Bradenton, Florida, she shared her appreciation for playing in front of her hometown supporters, stating, “Bradenton ❤️ Thank you for all the support this week. No better feeling than playing at home in front of a hometown crowd. Weeks like this make me so grateful & thankful.”

She further acknowledged the contributions of fans, volunteers, and sponsors, saying, “Grateful for the fans, volunteers and sponsors that support all of us and thankful for the incredible 13 Founders that paved the way for us. Without them we wouldn’t be able to live out our dreams.”

Last year, Korda triumphed at the same tournament when it was known as the LPGA Drive On Championship, which has since been renamed to The Founders Cup for 2025.
