The PGA Tour told they should follow the NBA’s lead as fresh broadcast idea proposed alongside the TGL
The PGA Tour do seem to be making a push to modernise things in the game of golf and after the success of the TGL, they’re now being encouraged to go one step further.
The TGL is very much still in its infancy as a product but on the whole, the feel of the event has been good and as a viewing experience, it has been well received by the majority.
However, while TGL is a step in the right direction for the PGA Tour, there’s still a feeling that more that more can be done to attract fresh viewers to the game.
With the Creator Classic one idea that has been well received, the TOUR have shown they’re willing to be flexible in terms of what they try.
And according to golf journalist Dan Rapaport, the time has come for the PGA Tour to follow in the NBA’s footsteps.
