Despite finishing 80th in the 2024 FedEx Cup standings, Jordan Spieth has received a sponsor exemption to participate in the 2025 Genesis Invitational, igniting discussions about fairness in player selections.
The Genesis Invitational, traditionally held at Riviera Country Club, has been relocated to Torrey Pines Golf Course due to recent wildfires. The tournament is set to take place from February 13-16, 2025.
