Paige Spiranac Challenges Golf’s ‘Boring’ Reputation, Embraces WM Phoenix Open’s Electric Atmosphere

Paige Spiranac has never been one to conform to golf’s traditional image, and now she’s tackling one of the sport’s biggest misconceptions—that it’s boring, exclusive, and overly formal.

The 31-year-old influencer and former professional golfer, known for blending her golf expertise with a bold and charismatic online presence, recently launched Las Paigeas, a new website in collaboration with SportsGrid. This venture expands her brand beyond golf and into the broader sports world. However, despite branching out, Spiranac remains committed to reshaping golf’s old-school reputation.

Golf Can Be Fun and Inclusive
In a recent interview with talkSPORT, Spiranac emphasized that golf doesn’t have to be quiet and uptight. As an example, she pointed to the WM Phoenix Open, a tournament that thrives on breaking away from traditional norms and creating a high-energy, fan-friendly experience.

“The misconception in golf is that it’s boring, it’s stuffy, it’s this elitist sport,” Spiranac said. “When the WM [Phoenix Open] rolls around, it’s all about youth and having fun, and it’s a really lively atmosphere.”

By embracing the excitement and energy of events like the WM Phoenix Open, Spiranac continues to challenge outdated perceptions of golf, proving that the sport can be both accessible and entertaining for a new generation of fans.
