Greg Norman Has One True Emotion On Bryson DeChambeau’s Money Move Amid His Exit Worries

Bryson DeChambeau, once a PGA Tour standout, has made quite the name for himself as one of LIV Golf’s biggest stars. His move to the Saudi-backed circuit wasn’t exactly smooth, as those big paychecks came with plenty of controversy, but he’s leaned into the chaos. One of the biggest ones was Rocket Mortgage dropping him immediately, that too publically, stating that their partnership with the Tour holds more importance. Well, it seems that DeChambeau’s journey of joining LIV is having a full circle moment.

The 2x US Open winner is now the face of Reebok Golf. Beginning in March, the Crushers GC captain will debut Reebok’s Nano Golf shoe alongside a co-branded apparel line. DeChambeau’s teammates Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri, will also sport Reebok’s polos, pants, and footwear on the course. Fans can even grab official Crushers GC kits at LIV Golf events and on Reebok’s website. The brand and the golfer seem to be excited alike for this new collaboration. But are they the only ones excited? No, Greg Norman is also genuinely happy and proud, despite his exit.

Norman wasted no time celebrating the lucrative partnership. The Australian veteran shared a video of DeChambeau swinging on Instagram with the caption: “Congratulations to Major Champion @brysondechambeau and his LIV Golf team @crushers_gc on teeing off the official relaunch of @reebok Golf. We’ll see you on the links this March.”

Interestingly, this partnership brings Reebok back full circle. Norman famously wore the brand during his prime as the world’s No. 1 golfer in the 1990s, making his signature Shark logo synonymous with Reebok’s early foray into golf. Do you know that Reebok’s The Greg Norman Collection began in 1992? It reached a whopping $100 million in annual sales in 2005.

This collaboration marks Reebok’s big return to the golf scene, and both DeChambeau and Reebok’s CEO, Todd Krinsky, are all in on this fresh start. “I’m proud to partner with Reebok to usher in the brand’s return to golf,” said DeChambeau. “When looking for a partner for Crushers GC, we wanted to find a brand that aligns with our vision for golf’s future and has the ability to increase visibility of the game around the world, and Reebok was the perfect fit.”

Krinsky echoed the sentiment, adding,“Bryson has been a positive force in bringing golf to the forefront of sportculture, and we’re thrilled to continue the impact together and reintroduce Reebok Golf to a new athlete.”

Announcing the partnership, the golfer wrote on his Instagram account, “Bringing it back @reebok and under it, the $2.5 billion brand commented, “Let’s do this 🤝.” Reebok also officially announced the deal on IG saying, “Reebok x Bryson DeChambeau x Crushers GC⛳️ To tee off the official relaunch of Reebok Golf, we are excited to welcome Major Champion, @brysondechambeau and his LIV Golf team @crushers_gc to the brand. This is just the beginning.” The LIV star commented under this, “We are so back!.” You see how everyone is eagerly excited!
