Golfweek‘s Eamon Lynch broke the news several weeks ago, but now it’s official.

Tournament organizers announced Monday that The Showdown will pit Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler against Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka.

It’s unofficially a PGA Tour vs. LIV Golf battle royale and that’s what adds a little spice to this made-for-TV event.

When is it? Where will it be played? How can I watch? Keep scrolling for all the answers you need.

The Showdown is set for Tuesday, Dec 17, in Las Vegas at Shadow Creek Golf Course, the No. 1-ranked public-access golf course in Nevada. The TV coverage starts at 6 p.m. ET, which is 4 p.m. Vegas time.

Shadow Creek held the very first Match between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.

The event will be carried live on TNT as well as TBS, truTV and the B/R Sports Add-On on Max. Event organizers also reported that “extensive highlights and content will also be available via Bleacher Report’s digital and social platforms.”
