10-Year-Old ‘Studs’ Give Bryson DeChambeau a Weird Phil Mickelson Reality Check Amid Full-Circle Moment

Interesting challenges and videos have surfaced on the internet which have taken fans awestruck and amazed. We are at the end of the golfing season, but that is not the case with the interesting videos on the internet. Bryson DeChambeau is a nine-time PGA Tour winner and a YouTuber with over 1.5 million subscribers.

The YouTuber has started his channel to showcase the real side and what life on the PGA Tour looks like. DeChambeau, also known as “The People’s Champion” wasn’t the favourite until 2021. During his video on his YouTube channel, he shared about the fan’s misconceptions and connection with him and that is what he wanted to change with his channel. In a recent video on Dechambeau’s channel, he took a challenge to play against three top junior golfers.

Deja Vu moment of Bryson DeChambeau

The brief match video showcased a great experience inside the game and what great encounters he had while playing with the three junior top players, i.e., Preston Harvey, Mack Marrow, and Jack Lyssy. Out of the three, two are 10-year-old studs playing alongside the pro golfer. The video was live on November 13 and in just two days it has crossed 500,000 views.

During the video, DeChambeau shared his memory of being a junior (10-year-old) and how he was praised by the professional and got inspired to play. His list of professionals included Peter Jacobson, Nick Wodney, Arnold Palmer, Annika Sorenstam, and Nancy Lopez. The praising words of the professionals “We’ll see you out there on Tour” inspired him to work hard to get on the Tour. He also shared that he always wanted to play with junior golfers.

The video is a great insightful experience for the fans, as it helps in understanding the course, mindset, and the things professionals calculate before making a shot. After observing the juniors hitting the tee shot, DeChambeau got Deja Vu.

Out of the three golfers, two were lefty and he shared he hasn’t played with lefties since Phil Mickelson. Both players have played together in LIV golf and are good friends. Their great bond of friendship can be seen in the video series of ‘Break 50’.

The golfers Bryson DeChambeauchallenged in the video are Jack Lyssy, 13, Mack Morrow, 10, and Preston Harvey, 10. While the pro was playing back tee, juniors were seen playing the front tees. The 13-year Lyssy has been a four-time local USKG season champion, while Morrow won the Metro Medalist Summer Series 2023 and was runner-up in 2024.

The juniors have shown a great sport during the challenge since the beginning. With great flow and skills for the game, the trio has managed to beat the pro-DeChambeau. After the loss, their people started to mock DeChambeau for not completing broke 50 and now losing to 10-year-olds.
