Tiger Woods was in attendance to watch his son Charlie in High School action this week, with the 15-time major champion reuniting with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren

Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren were spotted together this week, supporting their son Charlie at a high school golf tournament in Miami. The couple, who split in 2010 after nearly six years of marriage, continue to co-parent their two children, Sam and Charlie.

According to The Palm Beach Post, the pair were present to cheer on their youngest, Charlie, as he competed for The Benjamin School in Monday’s Class 1A Region 4 tournament. Despite challenging conditions, Charlie and his team finished just four shots behind Fort Lauderdale Pine Crest.

Tiger was seen following his son around the course on a cart, keeping communication brief to allow Charlie to concentrate on his game. Reflecting on Charlie’s performance, Benjamin coach Toby Harbeck told The Palm Beach Post: “He’s tough on himself. If he could just relax and play, store some of that energy, it’s good. He’s just young. He’s got a lot of Dad in him.”

Woods Sr, who hasn’t competed since The Open Championship at Royal Troon in July, where he missed the cut in brutal conditions on the Scottish coast, is set to return. The 48 year old’s appearance was only his fifth of the season, as he continues to juggle a part-time schedule due to ongoing fitness issues.

Despite participating in all four majors this campaign, Woods failed to replicate the form that has seen him win 15 times on the big stage, making just one cut at the Masters in April.

The 82-time PGA Tour winner also didn’t make the weekend at the PGA Championship, U.S. Open, and The Open. Apart from the four majors, Woods made just one other start, which was during his hosting duties at the Genesis Invitational in February.
