The six-time Solheim Cup veteran last competed in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship a month ago, securing T17th place with a score of 10 under par. “Being my third week in a row, it’s been a bit rough on my hand again, so I’m happy to have these next 4-5 weeks off to get some rest, make sure I’m 100% to finish the year, and put in the work as usual 👊🏼”.  Thompson is currently resting and recovering from the daunting injury, but with the upcoming Lotte Championship, fans are wondering if she will make an appearance since this is her last full professional season on the Tour. So, will she? Well, no. The Lotte Championship consists of amazing golfers like Ayaka Furue, Mao Saigo, and Jin Young Ko, but unfortunately, Thompson is not a part of this field.

However, fans can now sigh relief as she’s expected to return at The ANNIKA Driven by Gainbridge at Pelican on November 14. She’ll conclude her season at the championship finale if all goes well.
