Lexi Thompson Sets Eye on Future: Plans to Sell Unique Fan Requests Like Paige Spiranac Post Retirement

Imagine it’s your birthday, and you get a personal message from none other than Lexi Thompson. Pretty awesome, right? Here’s the fun part: Lexi seems to be taking a page from Paige Spiranac’s playbook. You know, Paige, the former golfer who made waves on social media and now connects with fans through her premium site—where, yep, people pay for that exclusive interaction. But Lexi’s doing things her own way. Instead of diving into modeling like Paige, she’s focusing on something more personal—sending custom greeting videos. It’s a cool twist, don’t you think?

Whether you’re after a birthday shoutout, a motivational pep talk, or even a lighthearted roast, you can request a customized video message from Thompson. The 29-year-old golfer shared this exciting news on her Instagram story, posting a photo with the caption, “From birthday wishes, shoutouts, golf tips, roasts, etc. click on the link below for @cameo videos from me!”

The starting price for these videos is $100.92. To get your personalized message, simply write a short set of instructions outlining your preferences, and voilà—you’ll receive a 30-second video from the 11-time LPGA winner.

Thompson joined the Cameo platform back in March 2020. Although she’s been part of it for four years, it’s only after her recent retirement that she’s been promoting this exciting side hustle. While she may have said goodbye to the greens, her ventures off the course are just beginning!

Lexi Thompson beyond greens

Earlier this year, on May 28, Lexi Thompson announced her retirement from professional golf at the end of this season. The 12-year veteran of the LPGA cited mental health struggles as the reason for her decision. In an open letter shared on her Instagram, she expressed, “I think we all have our own [mental health] struggles, especially out here. Unfortunately in golf, you lose more than you win, so it’s an ongoing battle to continue to put yourself out there in front of the cameras and continuing to work hard and maybe not seeing the results you want and gettingcriticized for it. So it’s hard. I will say, yes, I’ve struggled with it. I don’t think there’s somebody out here that hasn’t. It’s just a matter of how well you hide it, which is very sad.”

Since her announcement, Thompson has been absent from the greens, having last competed in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship a month ago. But to fans’ relief, they will get to see her swinging her clubs next at The ANNIKA Driven by Bainbridge at Pelican. With a little hope stillleft to see her on course, she may cap off her season at the championship finale before calling it quits for the year.
