Although Scottie Scheffler Received Rory McIlroy’s Respect, Two Others Stole the 35YO’s Attention Even More

The world no. 3, Rory McIlroy, recently interviewed with Kyle Porter for Normal Sport. The two had in-depth discussions about a variety of subjects like golf, life, and family. One of the topics was about managing golf and life outside golf. Porter asked McIlroy about how he and his fellow top golfers like Scottie Scheffler can find a balance in both these aspects of their respective lives.

While talking about the golf-life balance, McIlroy also acknowledged how Scheffler has a grasp of the situation. McIlroy said, “So you have to walk this very fine line. I think Scottie does a really good job of it because he obviously cares a bunch, but he also is probably humble enough to know that it’s not all in his control. And I think his faith has a massive part to do with that.” Further praising his fellow pro, McIlroy ended with, “I think he, more than anyone right now that plays a game, has figured that out.”
