Scottie Scheffler was heckled by a fan at the Presidents Cup in Canada on Saturday, with his caddie Ted Scott left fuming by the incident. And the fan was eventually kicked out for their behaviour as they were made to leave the Royal Montreal golf course.

USA star Scheffler bagged his first-ever foursomes victory in the Presidents Cup as he teamed up with Russell Henley.

The duo defeated International pairing Hideki Matsuyama and Sungjae Im as USA ended the day with an 11-7 lead ahead of the final day of action.

According to The Athletic, a fan yelled a derogatory comment at Scheffler about his wife Meredith. And Scott, who worked as a caddie for legendary golfer Bubba Watson for 15 years, stormed outside the ropes to scream at the fan.

The player’s father later confirmed to the outlet that the person in question had been removed by security.

Scheffler struggled with the putter in the early stages of the afternoon as he missed three makeable putts. But the two-time Masters champion did eventually find his form.
