Bryson DeChambeau’s YouTube channel has been a huge success since launching last year, with the LIV Golf superstar now boasting more subscribers than the PGA Tour

Bryson DeChambeau, the LIV Golf superstar, is making waves on YouTube, with his channel becoming a massive hit, especially among younger fans, and racking up tens of millions of views.

The two-time major champion reached a new milestone on Saturday when his channel’s subscriber count hit 1.49 million, surpassing the official PGA Tour account which stands at 1.48m.

DeChambeau saw a significant increase in subscribers last month after he shared a video of him playing a round with former President Donald Trump, who is aiming to return to the White House in the upcoming November election. The video, filmed at Trump Bedminster in New Jersey, has already garnered over 12m views.

DeChambeau’s other successful videos feature golfing greats like Phil Mickelson, John Daly, Tony Romo and Sergio Garcia. The current US Open champion has not only cemented his place as one of the best players of his generation but has also emerged as a prominent golf content creator.

Rick Shiels, a British-based content creator, currently holds the title for the largest golf-related YouTube channel with nearly three million subscribers. However, DeChambeau is quickly closing the gap and could soon claim the top spot.

Bryson DeChambeau, who previously had a rocky rapport with golf enthusiasts, has experienced a turnaround this season, emerging as a fan favourite and clinching victory at the US Open in June over Rory McIlroy.
