Nelly Korda and other Solheim Cup USA teammates don’t want Lexi Thompson on the aux; reveal her niche music taste
The 2024 Solheim Cup is around the corner. The tournament will be held from Thursday, September 12 to Sunday, September 15 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.
Recently, the official Solheim Cup U.S. Team handle posted a video on X. In the video, USA teammates talked about who the players would bar from controlling the aux cord. Nelly Korda and many others named Lexi Thompson. Thompson has a more niche music taste than the other players.
World No. 1 Korda said (via SolheimCupUSA):
“I would not let Lexi have the aux because she listens to like (0:17) hardcore like rock and metal. That is not my cup of tea.”
World No. 45 Allison Lee, who will be playing in his second Solheim Cup, said:
“Not have the aux, probably Lexi. I heard she likes like hardcore metal and I don’t know if that’s my vibe.”
Rose Zhang concurred with Korda and Lee and said:
“Hearing what Nellie said about hard rock, I don’t think I’d let Lexi on the aux.”
