Man who died at Iowa City golf course Wednesday identified
The man who died at Pleasant Valley Golf Course trapped in a pond under maintenance equipment has been identified as Christopher Plowman, 38, of Tiffin.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said they got called about a drowning at the course. Deputies found Plowman fully submerged under water when they got there and he was declared dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating the death. The golf course had to be cleared of golfers and several emergency vehicles were spotted there Wednesday afternoon.
