Tyrell Hatton echoes Bryson DeChambeau with major plea as key LIV Golf problem highlighted

Tyrrell Hatton made a mega-money move to LIV Golf earlier this year, but this decision could come at a cost further down the line when it comes to eligibility at the majors

Tyrrell Hatton has called on LIV Golf to be handed its own pathway into the four major championships, with the breakaway league continuing to host events without Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) accreditation.

LIV has enjoyed a rapid rise over the past two years, luring in some of the game’s biggest names with Hatton being the latest. The Englishman made a last-minute switch to the breakaway league earlier this year, teaming up with his Ryder Cupteammate Jon Rahm as part of Legion XIII.

Despite this, the one key issue surrounding Hatton and his fellow players on the LIV roster is their eligibility into the major championships, as they continue to see their names slip down the worldrankings.
