The $30m home of golfing superstar Rory McIlroy has helped him to stave off divorce from wife Erica Stoll as the couple declared ‘their best future is as a family together’.

According to several media reports, McIlroy had served court papers to Stoll last month saying he wanted out of their marriage.

However the duo now look to have done a complete U-turn and will stay together, living in their uber luxurious mansion in Jupiter Florida – considered the golfing capital of the world.

McIlroy bought the sprawling mansion, which sits on almost 1200 sqm, from PGA Tour legend Ernie Els.
