Emma Raducanu made around 10 times more money away from the tennis court than she did on it.

Emma Raducanu’s company made almost £10 million last year, according to their latest documents. The British tennis star spent most of 2023 unable to compete after having three surgeries. But she still managed to cash in on lucrative off-court deals as her fortune skyrocketed.

Raducanu is the director and sole employee of Harbour 6 Limited. According to their recent accounts filing, their profits skyrocketed from £667k in 2022 to £10.2m in 2023, though the business made so much money that it was hit with a £1.8m corporation tax bill.

Documents showed that the 21-year-old’s company had more than £6.2m in cash, £2.3m in stocks and was owed £1.6m by debtors. The current world No. 303 loaned herself £350k from her company, with Harbour 6 Limited also paying £74k in VAT.

In comparison, Raducanu made just £190k in prize money on the tennis court in 2023 as she played her final match of the year in April before having three surgeries a month later. Her total career prize money is also less than her business’ profits for last year, totalling £3.2m.

Around £1.8m came from her US Open title win in 2021 when she became the first qualifier in tennis history to lift a Grand Slam title. Raducanu became a superstar overnight and quickly penned sponsorship deals with several high-profile brands which are clearly still paying off.

Raducanu is a brand ambassador for the likes of Dior, Tiffany & Co, British Airways, HSBC and Evian. She is also sponsored by Porsche, and is competing in this week’s Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart as a wildcard.
