Andy Murray pictured with daughter for first time – and they have a sweet similarity

In an endearing photograph shared by Judy Murray, it appears that Andy Murray has been captured with one of his daughters for the first time. Although the sweet shot has been cropped, a glimpse of a little girl’s blonde curly hair, reminiscent of Andy’s, can be seen in the corner. The child is believed to be his three-year-old daughter, Sophia. A fan commented, “Some lovely blonde curly hair – a mix of Andy & Kim – so one little Murray there!”

Judy playfully captioned the photo, “Aargh, Andy seems to be morphing into John McEnroe…,” sparking various responses from her followers. One admirer noted, “Can see blonde hair [there]? Gorgeous photo Judy, he’s much better looking than Mac, and he was always my favourite back then. Nobody likes Andy though. Hope he’s doing well.”

Andy Murray and his wife Kim Sears are parents to two daughters, Edie and Sophia, but they prefer to keep their family life private. The couple tied the knot in 2015, welcoming Sophia in February 2016 and little Edie in November 2017.

In 2018, Andy shared that the thought of his children has been a source of motivation during his injury setbacks. “One of the things that I would like to do is play until my eldest daughter can watch me and have a small understanding of what it is I’ve done for my living,” he expressed. “That’s one of the things that’s motivated me to keep playing. That would be cool if she could come along and watch me hit some balls or practice, just to see what it is I do.”
