Tennis ace Jamie Murray beams at daughter’s milestone birthday as fans gush over ‘gorgeous family’

JAMIE Murray shared a sweet picture of his family on social media as he celebrated his daughter’s birthday.

The Scots tennis star and his wife Alejandra welcomed baby Ava into the world last year.

And today, the couple celebrated their daughter’s first birthday.

The adorable pic shared on Instagram showed Jamie and Alejandra, dressed in all white, sitting on a swing chair and smiling at little Ava.

The caption read: “We made it through a year!

“I am so blessed to have an incredible little girl and wife.

“Ava is so blessed to have an incredible mum by her side.”

Many flocked to the comments with their birthday messages for the tot.

Jamie, 36, married Colombian-born Alejandra in 2010 at brother Andy’s luxury Cromlix hotel near his hometown of Dunblane.

The seven-time Grand Slam champion announced he became a dad for the first time after he shared a photo on his Instagram of him playing with his newborn.

The little girl is a cousin to his brother Andy’s four children with his wife Kim.

The pair’s mum Judy Murray confirmed she had become a grandmother for the fifth time in a recent interview on the Miked Up podcast.
